Dear Generous Friend,

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Remembering a woman and her children during the emotionally tough Christmas season can give her hope, and let her know that there IS love at this season for her!

Any amount of kindness can make a world of difference to families in crisis. Please keep in mind that many of our families are in transition, and may leave the shelter before they have a chance to receive your donation. The family “scenario” you have been given has been created to represent the typical needs of our women and children. The gifts we receive will be distributed to the families during and after their stay at the shelter.

Many times women and children come to the shelter with nothing but the clothes on their backs, forced to leave all their belongings behind because of domestic violence. Your gifts will be used to supply our families with desired items and basic needs, both while in the shelter and as they move into their homes. Starting a new home and new life is a complicated, exhausting task, and your gifts will alleviate much of that burden. Click here to see the needs of two families!

We are asking that all donations be dropped off at our administrative office which is located at 1111 N. St. Francis in Wichita. The office hours are M-F, 8-5. If you have further questions feel free to call us at 263-2313.
