The Treasure Chest (Thrift Store) provides goods for families representing nearly $10,000 in clothing and household supplies each year. This support is important as vicitms transition from the YWCA Women’s Crisis Center back into the community to begin a violence-free life.

The YWCA Wichita Treasure Chest serves dual purposes. While providing storage for many donations we receive for the Women's Crisis Center/Safehouse, the overflow is sold to the public. The Treasure Chest allows us to provide a wider selection of clothing and household items for our clients. Vouchers are given to the women and children for needed clothing when they arrive at the shelter, and they are also helped with household items as they leave to set up new homes. These women do not pay for their needs or those of their children.
All sales benefit the YWCA Women's Crisis Center/Safehouse.
